The tests and measurements of the noise emitted by the Atlas Plus Echo-silent® system were carried out in accordance with the European standard EN 14366 "Laboratory measurement of noise from waste facilities".
The Atlas Plus Echo-silent® system is certified to produce a sound pressure level of 15dB with flow at 4l/s and less than 10dB at 2l/s.
Measurements are taken on the underlying floor of the room near the drain, where the waste flow is higher, especially in multi-storey apartments or multi-storey buildings where the waste flow is combined.
All tests were carried out at the accredited Fraunhofer building physics institute in Germany.
