Underfloor Heating - Boiler Room
Throughout the winter period, and for maximum economy in fuel, Interplast recommends two setting for the feed water temperature from the boiler towards the underfloor heating.
The use of a central four-way mix valve allows an initial setting of the water temperature supplied by the boiler (approximately 50°C). At the same time, the boiler is protected from low temperature returning waters.
After the four-way, a three-way mix valve is installed on the central flow line of each group of manifolds, setting again, and differently for each manifold, the temperature of the water that flows into the floor.
An electromotor with preset temperature can be installed at each three-way way mix valve. With the aid of a sensor we set the desired feed water temperature at the underfloor system's manifold and the time when the order will be given to the electromotor to regulate it.
For the system’s safety, we install a contact sensor hydrostat which controls the feed water temperature and stops the circulator of the heating if the feed water temperature exceeds the maximum desired setting.
For the main water paths, Interplast provides the Aqua – plus pipe with aluminium. With all the advantages of the PP-r pipes with the extra advantage of reduced linear expansions thanks to the aluminium sheet. The integrated range of fittings (‘T’s, angles, etc.) ensures simplicity in the installation and an aesthetically pleasing result.
