The excellent watertightness of the ATLAS-PLUS sewerage pipe and fitting network, is achieved by means of the top quality specially designed elastic rings (their specifications are in compliance with German standard DIN 4060 and European standard EN 681-1-hardness 60 Shore A), which are installed inside the couplings during the production of the pipes.
Their manufacturing material is a special type elastomer of German manufacture, with a practically limitless lifespan, even in a corrosive high temperature environment, without losing its initial elasticity even after 50 years of non-stop operation of the installation at high temperatures. Interplast provides installers with a special lubricant to be used on the elastic when the pipes are connected.
